Short Ribs Extraordinaire Virginia Doetsch Recipe
Ingredients 6 Short Ribs (cut in half) 2 dried ancho/chile peppers (or chili spice) 1/2 teas. salt 3 Tbl. Soy 1 teas. crushed red pepper 2 bay leaves 1 chopped onion 1 cup brown sugar 5 cloves garlic, whole 1 cup worchestershire sauce Preparation cover almost to top with water. boil. simmer 7 hours. can remove bones and reduce some liquid until syrupy for a more savory presentation.
