Ingredients

1 cup butter

1/3 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla

2 1/4 cups flour

1 cup chopped pecans

1 cup sifted powdered sugar

Preparation

Beat butter with mixer on medium-high for 30s. Add sugar and beat till combined. Blend in 1 tblsp water and vanilla till combined. Beat in as much flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in the remaining flour and pecans. Shape dough into 1 inch balls or 2.2 inch logs. Place 1" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake in 325F oven for 20’ or until bottoms are lightly browned.
