Ingredients

2 sticks of margarine (vegan)

1 ½ packed cups brown sugar

3-4 tablespoons vanilla

2 ¾ cups of flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½-1 teaspoon salt

Chocolate chips to taste (about 3/4s of a bag)

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Mix margarine and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add vanilla.
  4. Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt. Consistency should be stiff.
  5. Mix in chocolate chips.
  6. Spoon out onto 2 cookie trays (12 larger cookies per tray or up to 30 smaller cookies).
  7. Bake for around 10 minutes, until slightly brown (will cook more as cooling down, so take them out before they look totally done).
