Ingredients
1/2 # gr. beef
1 # Italian sausage
1 small onion (put in blender to really hide texture from kids!)
2 garlic cloves, minced
2- 28 oz. can tomatoes
12 oz. tomato paste
2 t. sugar
1 t. salt
1/4 t. thyme
1 1/4 t. oregano
3/4 t. pepper
1/4 t. basil
2 c. mozzerella, shredded
2 c. swiss cheese, shredded
1 # lasagna noodles, cooked in salt water
Preparation
Brown first group of food (meat)in big skillet. Add tomato mixture and cook for 5-10 minutes. Mix cheeses together. Alternate layers of noodles/meat/cheeses ending with the cheese in a 9x 13 pan, and bake at 325 for about 45 minutes.
