Ingredients
3 tbs olive oil
8 fresh sage leaves, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp chopped fresh thyme
1/4 tsp tumeric
pinch ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp tumeric
2 cans (15 oz each) chickpeas
1 tbs lemon juice
Preparation
In a large skillet heat oil and warm sage and garlic over med. heat for three minutes until fragrant.
Stir in the salt, pepper, thyme, tumeric, and cinnamon.
Add chickpeas and toss well.
Remove from heat and sprinkle with lemon juice
Serve warm or at room temp
