Ingredients

1 cup ketchup

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp vinegar

2 tbsp butter

1/3 cup chopped onion

3 garlic cloves, finely chopped

A pinch of cayenne pepper (or to taste)

1/4 tsp paprika

Preparation

In a small saucepan over medium heat combine ketchup, mustard, and vinegar. Add butter, onion, and garlic. Once the butter is melted, add paprika and cayenne pepper. Once it starts to boil, reduce the heat to minimum and let it cook for 3 more minutes. Serve hot or cold with cold (or hot) previously cooked shrimp.
