Ingredients
3 tubes Bob Evans Hot sausage
4 bags or jars saurkraut
1 small box instant mashed potatoes
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
begin by frying the sausage in a deep pot until completely cooked. Drain and replace in pot. Add all your saurkraut to the sausage and cook in a high heat until some of the juice has cooked away. Simmer the sausage and saurkraut mixture for at least 2 hours (the longer the better). Place the mixture in a casserole pan and cover heavely with shredded cheddar cheese. Save about a cup of cheese for the end. Make your instant potatoes according to the directions on the box. Spread the potatoes over the sausage mixture in the casserole pan. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on the top of the potatoes and heat to warm.
