Ingredients
½ loaf of day old French bread
4 oz shredded Swiss cheese
3 oz Monterey Jack cheese
1 lb of pork sausage (Jean Dean Regular)
4 green onions chopped
8 eggs
½ tbsp mustard
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
1 ½ cup fat free milk
½ cup cream of mushroom soup
½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
Preparation
Butter the pan and layer bottom of pan with torn pieces of bread Sprinkle bread with Swiss and Jack cheese Next layer cooked sausage over cheese then green onion Mix together eggs, mustard, cayenne pepper, milk and cream of mushroom soup and pour into pan Sprinkle parmesan cheese over this mixture Cover pan with foil, bake for 1 hour at 325 Remove foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes until casserole is set and browned
