Ingredients
Good quality pork sausages
Pears
(amount obviously depends on the number of servings you require)
Preparation
Cover good quality sausages with water and simmer for a short time to plump them up and remove all excess fat. Drain off water. Remove almost all cooking fat (leaving 2 tbsp) Keep sausages warm. Add 2 tbsp butter and saute peeled pears (cut into sixths.) Add some brown sugar. Remove pears to platter on which sausages have been arranged. Add small amount of cream to skillet to deglaze pan. Pour sauce over sausages and pears.
