Ingredients
1 lb. sweet sausage-casings removed (Perri)
1 lb. hot sausage-casings removed
1 green pepper chopped
1 med. onion chopped
1 29 oz. can italian tomatoes broken up in sauce
1 15oz. can tomatoe sauce
1 6oz. can tomatoe paste
1 lb. mozarella (I used 2/3monterey jack 1/3 mozz.
1 lb. zitti cooked aldente
1/2 cup parmesean cheese
Preparation
Brown sausage breaking up. Add pepper and onion. Saute 5 min. Stir in tomatoes, sauce & paste. Simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 min. Layer sauce, ziti, cheese and sauce in 13"x9" pan ending with sauce. Sprinkle with parmesean. Bake 400 degrees 25-30 minutes.
