Ingredients

2 C cooked and peeled chestnuts

1 T butter

1 small onion, diced

1 1/2 T granulated sugar

1/2 c water

Preparation

Brown diced onion in butter. Add sugar and stir briefly until sugar is slightly carmelized. Add water and cook over low heat about 20 min, or until sauce is thickened. Add chestnuts and serve.
