Ingredients

3 lb. Salmon filet (preferably without skin)

Olive oil

Garlic powder

Mexican (hot) chili powder

Red pepper flakes

Kosher salt

Fresh ground pepper

Brown Sugar

Cedar Plank

Preparation

Soak cedar plank for at least 20 minutes before grilling. Drizzle olive oil over salmon. Gently sprinkle garlic powder, chili powder, red pepper flakes, salt & pepper covering one side of the salmon completely. It will be a paste with the oil. Then, pack with brown sugar. Flip and do other side as well. Put cedar plank on grill until it pops, about 2-3 mins. Place salmon on top and leave there until flaky (approximately 20 mins). Serve directly from the plank. Enjoy!
