Ingredients

4 Large Potatoes

1 1/2 Cup Milk

About 3 Cups Cheese (more if you want it cheesier or less if you don’t want it as cheesy)

Pepper to taste

I got this recipe from my mom and she uses nutmeg with the pepper. I don’t like nutmeg, but if you do, she loves it.

Preparation

Peel potatoes and slice in 1/4 inch pieces.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Boil potatoes in milk until soft but not completely cooked.

Grease bottom of pan.

Layer potatoes, cheese and pepper until potatoes and cheese are gone. (make sure a layer of cheese is on top)

Pour milk on top.

Bake for about 45 minutes.
