Ingredients
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp baking powder
2 Tbsp ground flax seed
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
1/4 cup coconut/canola oil
3/4 cup soy/almond milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup blueberries/chocolate chips/pumpkin puree/one peeled and diced apple
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F, and grease a cookie sheet. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, flax, salt, cinnamon, and allspice. Stir in oil, vanilla, and milk. Fold in the optional add-ins of choice. You will have to knead this by hand–it will be very dry until properly kneaded. Pat the dough into a round disk on the cookie sheet. Cut into 8 slices, like a pizza. Separate slices. Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes or until golden. Let cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
