Ingredients
Lamb (leftovers) on the bone
2c chicken stock
2c water
2 carrots (diced)
1 large onion (diced)
1 turnip (diced)
1/2c barley
3tbs tomato paste
3tsp curry
salt
pepper
Preparation
In a large pot slow cook 1st three ingredients for an hour on low heat after first boil.
Pull out lamb bone and make bite size pieces of meat when cool and return to pot . Add all remaining ingredients, stirring to blend evenly. Cook 1-2 hour on low heat.
Add salt and pepper to taste before serving.
