Ingredients

8 Tbsp. unsalted butter

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup light brown sugar (firmly packed)

1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

2 large eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp. Baking soda

1 tsp. salt

12 oz. chocolate chips

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Preheat at 375º. Line cookie sheets with parchment. Slowly cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Add peanut butter, beating until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

In a large bowl, sift together flour, soda and salt. Add to butter mixture, on low speed, until dough comes together. Mix in chips and nuts. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough 2-inches apart.

Bake 9 to 12 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
