Ingredients
Potatoes
appx 1 C half & half
1/2 C real sour cream
1 stick melted butter
salt & white ground pepper
Preparation
Potatoes - get potatoes ready - boiled and drained - and dry on a cookie sheet in a low oven until all the water has evaporated, then put in a large mixing bowl, or kitchen aid and….here we go….mix in appx 3/4 C half & half, 1/2 C real sour cream, 1 stick melted butter salt & white ground pepper, again add a little more 1/2 & 1/2, or cream until you get the consistency you want, they should be a little loose, transfer to a baking dish and bake in 350* oven until lightly brown and crusty on top - (you can take a short cut and use the mash potatoes from Costco and just add the creams and butter - it is a very close second, and I have done that when I am having a huge group, but the fresh is a little better -
