Ingredients

12 bacon slices

24 large sea scallops(about 2 lbs)

3/4 cup maple syrup

2 T. butter

3 tsp. o.j.

1 tsp. orange peel

1/8 tsp. salt

Preparation

  1. Cook bacon, cut in half
  2. wrap each scallop
  3. bring syrup to boil, about 5 minutes, stir in butter, oj, peel, and salt
  4. thread on skewers, grill on lightly greased rack until opaque, about 4-6 minutes
