Ingredients

2 1/2 cups of bottled clam juice

20 oz. of baby clams

1-pound of cooked shrimp

1 pound of bay scallops

2 cans chicken broth

4-5 medium red potatoes

1 cup carrots (cut up)

1 cup of celery (cut-up)

1 small onion (cut-up)

1 cup red bell pepper (cut-up)

1 tsp of butter

3/4 cup of flour

16 oz half/half cream

1 cup of crab claw meat (or crab meat of your choice),can also use a few whole crab claws

Preparation

Use 6-8 quart Dutch oven

Melt butter on low fire

Add onions,stir until they soften (about 3 minutes)

Add carrots, potatoes, celery and red pepper

Add clam juice

Add chicken broth

Bring to boil for approx 2-3 minutes, then simmer until the potatoes soften

Add shrimp and scallops, clams and crab

Mix flour to (cold) half & half and slowly add mixture until soup thickens
