Ingredients

1 lb. Crab meat

1 lb. fresh shrimp

1 lb. fresh firm white fish cubed

1 cup chopped onions

16 oz. tomatoes pureed

1 lb. okra cut in chunks

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 or 4 cloves of garlic crushed

3 tablespoons flour (all purpose)

2 or 3 bay leaves

2 tablespoons fresh oregano

1 tablespoon fresh thyme

add salt,black pepper, and crushed red pepper to taste

2 cups chicken broth

Preparation

saute onions and garlic in olive oil until tender, blend in flour with whisk until golden brown. Stir in 2 cups chicken broth,tomatoes,oregano,thyme,bayleaves,salt,and peppers, bring to boil, then simmer for 1 hour. Remove bay leaves add okra, simmer for 30 minutes or until fork tender. Gently stir in crab, shrimp, and cubed fish. Simmer for another 5 minutes. Can be served over rice, but can stand alone as a stew.
