Ingredients
tuna steak (1 lb)
soy sauce (1/2 cup)
garlic (3 cloves)
ginger (1 tbsp)
pepper (1/2 tsp)
rice vinegar (1/2 cup
brown sugar (2 tbsp)
spinach (4 cups)
Preparation
Mix soy sauce, garlic, ginger, pepper, rice vinegar and brown sugar. Marinade tuna in 1/4 of this mixture for 30 minutes.
Sear tuna, 2 minutes on each side on high heat.
While tuna is grilling toss spinach with the remaining 3/4 of liquid mixture. After tuna has been seared, thinly slice and place on top of salad.
Finish with a garnish of sliced ginger.
