Ingredients

For the Crackers

2 Cups All-Purpose Flour

1 Cup Wheat Flour

2 Tsp. Baking Powder

2 Tsp. Salt

1/2 Cup salted cold Butter, cut into pieces

1 Cup Plain Yogurt

1 Cup Sesame Seeds, Toasted

For the Glaze

4 Tbs. Roasted Hazelnut Oil

1 Tbs. White Vinegar

1 Tsp. Dijon Mustard

1/4 Tsp. Salt

A pinch of Pepper

2 Large Eggs

2 Tbs. Sugar

Preparation

For the Dough Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, Combine flour, baking powder, and salt until well mixed. Cut butter in piece by piece. Use your fingers to smoosh the butter in with the flour mixture until just combined. Stir in yogurt and sesame seeds and kneed into a dough. Divide dough into quarters, wrapping each in plastic wrap. Chill 10 minutes.

For the Glaze Combine Oil, Vinagar, Mustard, and Eggs. Add sugar, salt and pepper to taste.

Roll Dough out thinly ( about 1/4 inch or less) and cut with small cookie cutter (I used a circular one about an inch and a half in diameter). Place cracker on a cookie sheet about 1/3 inch apart. Bake for about 10 min. or until glaze goldens.
