Ingredients
1 1/4 C chicken broth, divided
1/2 cup sugar
2 T sesame oil
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp fish sauce
2 T chile paste
1 T cornstarch
salt and pepper
1 rack pork spare ribs
1 T sesame seeds
Preparation
In a small sauce pot over med heat, combine 1 C chicken broth, sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, fish sauce and chile paste, and bring to a simmer until all the sugar has dissolved. Stir together 1/4 c chicken broth with cornstarch, and add to sauce, stirring until thickened. Season the sauce, remove from heat and reserve. Preheat oven to 300F. Season ribs heavily. brush with sesame glze, and roast for 6 hours, basting every hour. During hte last hour of cooking, increase heat to 375F and sprinkle with seame seeds.
