Ingredients
1 1/2 cups vegetable broth
3/4 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked
1 T butter
1 T sesame seeds
2 T peanut oil
1/2 lb asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1" pieces
l large bell pepper in 1" pieces
l large yellow onion, sliced
2 cups sliced mushrooms
2 teas minced fresh ginger root
1 teas minced garlic
3 T soy sauce
1 T sesame oil
Preparation
Preheat oven 350. Combine butter, rice and broth in saucepan and cover. Allow it to come to a boil on high. turn the heat to low and let it simmer for 15 min. until liquid is absorbed. Brown sesame seed in baking pan in oven for 5 min. Put peanut oil in wok and stir fry all ingred. Put sesame oil and seeds in last and serve over rice.
