Ingredients

1 head lettuce, torn into small pieces

4 hard boiled eggs, sliced

1/2 - 1 C. celery, chopped

10 oz. pkg. frozen green peas, thawed

1/2 C. green & red peppers, chopped

1/2 C. green or sweet onions, chop

4 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded

8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

Top Dressing:

1 C. mayonnaise

1 C. sour cream

2 T. sugar

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and mix.

Preparation

Prepare the dressing; set aside. In a clear glass bowl, layer ingredients in the following order:

  1. lettuce, chopped
  2. eggs, sliced
  3. celery, chopped
  4. frozen peas, thawed
  5. red & green peppers and onion, chopped
  6. dressing, see recipe above
  7. cheese and bacon on top

Cover and chill for 8-12 hours before serving. Toss with dressing and serve.
