Ingredients

1 C ketchup

1/2 C brown sugar

1/2 C apple cider vinegar

1 pkg. Lipton’s onion soup mix

1/2 C water

6 lbs. brisket

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together. Dump mixture on top of the brisket in a roasting pan. Cover and roast for 2 hours. Check to see if it’s done. You can cool it and then slice it at this point, and continue roasting right away or the next day, depending when you’re serving it.
