Ingredients

2 lbs pears

1/4 c. vermouth

1/4 c. apricot preserves

1/2 c. fine macaroon crumbs

3 T butter

Preparation

Arrange pears in an 8" round baking dish. In a small bowl beat together vermouth and apricot preserves. Pour over pears. Sprinkle with macaroon crumbs and dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 25 min. Makes 4-6 servings.
