Ingredients

6 to 8 russet potatoes

1 medium onion grated or chopped

1 large egg, beaten

2 - 3 Tbsp flour

Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Vegetable oil for frying

Preparation

Shred or grate potatoes and mix in remaining ingredients. I usually grate them and then throw them in the food processor for a few seconds. You can add a little garlic if you’d like and I usually put in a dash or 2 of nutmeg.
