Ingredients

1 lb. butter, room temperature

1 cup superfine sugar

5 cups flour

Preparation

Beat butter with sugar till very light and fluffy. Gradually add in the flour till incorporated. Scoop with a cookie scoop, arranging 24 cookies on a standard non greased cookie sheet. Press down with a stamp (or a glass dipped in sugar) and bake for approximately 20 minutes (or until cookies are beginning to run a golden color) in a 350 oven.
