Ingredients
9-oz. all purpose flour
6-oz. unsalted butter
3 oz. sugar
Preparation
Mix together with your hands. (the heat from your hands will help incorporate the butter) When blended, form into a log and refrigerate, covered.
Cut into desired thickness (usually about 1/8", bake on parchment in a slow oven. Do not brown.
(These were her instructions, so I kind of played with the oven temp and found that 350 works, but you really have to keep an eye on them.)
I have grated orange peel in the dough and then dipped half the finished cookie into dark chocolate…heaven! But they are just as yummy naked!
