Ingredients
1/4 lb dried top quality shitake mushrooms
1 stick butter
3 tbs granulated garlic
1 lb shelled and deveined shrimp 26 - 30 count
Preparation
In 2 quart sauce pan cover shitake mushrooms with 1 quart water and simmer for 15 minutes until fully hydrated. Cool and squeeze dry. Remove hard stems and slice caps. Melt butter in sauce pan add garlic and sliced mushrooms. Cover and saute on medium low for 30 minutes until butter has been absorbed. Add shrimp and cook till just pink. Serve hot with tooth picks.
