Ingredients
1-2 kilogrammes of freshly peeled prawns.
Juice of 2 lemons (save some slices for decoration)
Three tomatoes, diced into cubes
1/2 cup Prego tomato sauce ( I personally like the one with clives)
2 Teaspoon sugar
Freshly grinded black pepper
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon of olive oil
Few sprinkles of seasoning
Broccoli (1 bunch would do)
Preparation
Mix 1/2 cup Prego sauce with sugar, salt, tomato cubes, and olive oil.
Heat over a low flame while adding sprinkles of seasoning. A little bit of tasting is required here to get the preferred flavor of the sauce. Leave to cool.
Then mix sugar, salt, a teaspoon of lemon juice and olive oil in a separate bowl, and mix the prawns in.
Lightly fry the prawns over a low flame for about 1-2 minutes. You don’t have to make it too cooked (some people like their prawns half-cooked)
Boil the chopped broccoli in salted water for about 4-5 minutes or until done.
Mix the prawns (about 6-7) with some raw tomato cubes into a serving glass and pour the sauce over them, allowing it to ooze its way down slowly.
Sprinkle the ground black pepper all over and add 2-3 stalks of broccoli.
Drizzle some lemon juice and olive oil over the top, add in a slice of lemon, and serve.
