Ingredients
1 stick butter
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp minced ginger
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp ground cumin
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp curry powder
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 tsp cayenne
1 medium onion, sliced
35-40 jumbo shrimp
Preparation
- Melt the butter in a frying pan
- Add cloves, ginger, garlic and cumin and fry slightly
- Add onions and sautee until they start to caramelize
- Add shrimp, salt, sugar and lemon juice and sautee until done
- Add chicken broth and cayenne and simmer 15-20 minutes
