Ingredients

1 stick butter

1 tsp ground cloves

1 tsp minced ginger

1 tsp minced garlic

1 tsp ground cumin

1 1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 tsp sugar

1 tbsp curry powder

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 cup chicken broth

1/4 tsp cayenne

1 medium onion, sliced

35-40 jumbo shrimp

Preparation

  1. Melt the butter in a frying pan
  2. Add cloves, ginger, garlic and cumin and fry slightly
  3. Add onions and sautee until they start to caramelize
  4. Add shrimp, salt, sugar and lemon juice and sautee until done
  5. Add chicken broth and cayenne and simmer 15-20 minutes
