Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
8 cups stock–chicken or vegetable
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
1 Tablespoon crab boil
3 Tablespoons gumbo file
4 cups sliced okra–frozen is fine
4 cups canned tomatoes
1/4 cup parsley
bag of small frozen shrimp
Preparation
1 Saute vegetables in butter 2 Add stock, tomatoes, seasonings, and simmer 1 hour. 3 add shrimp and simmer until warm through. Serve over rice
