Ingredients

12 ounces cooked shrimp, thawed and chopped

8 ounces cream cheese

2 shallots, finely chopped

1 tsp ginger root, minced

1 Tbsp chives, chopped

1 tsp sesame oil

Wonton wrappers

Sesame seeds

Sauce:

2 Tbsp soy sauce

1 Tbsp rice wine vinegar

1 Tbsp cold watter

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425
  2. Mix first 6 ingredients together until well blended
  3. Place 1 Tbsp of shrimp mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper
  4. Bring corners of wrapper together, twist and pinch tight. Flatten bottom. Place in baking pan, brush with water and sprinkle with sesame seeds
  5. Bake 10 - 12 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towel
  6. Serve with dipping sauce made by combining soy sauce, rice wine and cold water.
