Ingredients

2 1/2 cups flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 cup sugar

3 eggs room temp

1 stick butter melted and cooled

1/8 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp almond extract

2 cups chopped walnuts

1 cup choclate chips

Preparation

preheat oven 350 cream melted butter and sugar until fluffy. add eggs one at a time along with the vanilla/almond add flour combined with the salt and baking powderuntil combined (do not overbeat) fold in nuts and chips using wet hands shape dough into three flat retangle loaves and place on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven cool until just warm. Use a serated knife and slice about 1/2 inch thick slices. Increase oven temperature to 375 and bake for 15 minutes
