Ingredients

• 3/4 cup sugar

• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

• 1 cup butter, softened (I use country crock, which is a little easier to work with and has a “more Buttery” flavor)

• 2 large eggs,beaten

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

• 1 teaspoon baking soda

• 3/4 teaspoon salt

• 1 teaspoon clove

• 2 teaspoons cinnamon

• 2 cups Nestle chocolate chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix sugar, brown sugar, butter, vanilla, clove, cinnamon and eggs in a large bowl (I use a stand Mixer) . Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Add Chocolate last. If you use a stand mixer for this step you may damage it or hurt yourself so beware. That being said I use one. Scoop with a 2 ounce ice cream scoop. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown and remove from oven, carry over will finish the baking process. If it looks cooked in the oven it will be burned on the plate.
