Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup cocoa
3 or 4 large eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup plus 1tbsp flour
Optional:
broken up Score bar, chocolate covered rasins, nuts,
Top with whipped cream flavoured with instant coffee icing or hot chocolate powder
Preparation
Melt butter and mix in cocoa. Add eggs (extra egg if more cake-like brownies are desired) and sugar. Mix really well - creaming together. Add flour and whatever options you have chosen - barely mix.
Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes in a buttered pan. Serve warm with ice cream.
For a cake, bake in a 9" round cake pan, once cool cut cake through the middle. Ice and fill with barely sweetened whip cream flavored with instant coffee. (best served cold)
To really fancy it up, I fill and top the cake with milk chocolate mousse, covered with a dark chocolate ganache
