Ingredients

4 ears corn, husked 

1 tablespoon sugar 

Butter, to taste 

Salt, to taste 

Cayenne pepper, to taste 

Preparation

In a large, heavy pot, bring 2 quarts of water to a boil; add sugar to sweeten corn. Add corn, and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Serve with butter, salt, and cayenne pepper.
