Ingredients
Cookie Batter
2 ounces of unsalted butter
1/4 cup of corn syrop
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of sliced almonds
1/4 cup of flour
Preparation
Pre heat oven to 325 degress
In a heavy sauce pan bring butter, corn syrop and brown sugar to a boil.
Remove from heat and add flour and almonds.
Mix well to form a smooth dough.
Drop 1 inch balls with a small spoon onto a parchment lined cookie sheet 6 inches apart.
Cook until golden brown 5-7 minutes.
before the cookies cool completly drape them over a rolling pin to form tubes. Great with Ice cream.
