Ingredients

2 tablespoonsextra-virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes

1 tablespoon minced fresh basil leaves

Preparation

Saute olive oil with garlic, just until garlic is golden, about 30 seconds. Add tomatoes, bring to boil, and simmer gently until sauce thickens, about 10 minutes. Stir in basil; add salt and pepper to taste.
