Ingredients
1 large sweet crisp apple (braeburn or gala) diced chunky
1 twelve oz package fresh or frozen cranberries
1 cup apple cider
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/16 tsp nutmeg (2 seconds grated fresh with microplane)
Preparation
Cook all ingredients together for 10 minutes, over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until all cranberries “pop”.
Can be served warm, room-temperature or chilled.
