Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 onion, chopped

1 shallot, chopped

2 tsp Paprika

3 TB brown sugar,

2 tsp apple cider vinegar,

2 tsp mustard powder

1 green bell pepper, diced

6 cloves garlic - minced

1 tsp granulated garlic

2 pounds ground beef

1 cup tomato sauce

4 tablespoons tomato paste

1/2 cup ketchup

3 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Pub Buns - buttered and grilled.

Preparation

In a medium chef’s pan or sauce pan, heat oil, saute onions and peppers until translucent. Add minced garlic and saute for two more minutes. Add dry spices and stir in quickly, followed immediately by cider vinegar-stir, Worcestershire sauce-stir, tomato sauce-stir, tomato paste-stir and let come to a simmer.

In a separate cast-iron skillet, brown two pounds of ground beef and drain if necessary, depending on how lean your beef is. Pour the sauce mixture into the beef and simmer for 15 minutes.
