Ingredients

3.5 lbs pork loin back ribs

1/4 c packed brown sugar

1/2 t pepper

2 cloves minced garlic

3 T liquid smoke

1 teaspoon salt

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1/2 c cola

Preparation

Spray cooking spray on inside of 4-5 quart slow cooker. Remove membrane from ribs. Mix brown sugar, pepper, liquid smoke, garlic and salt and rub into ribs. Cut ribs into 4 inch sections. Layer in slow cooker and pour cola over them. Cover and cook on low for 8 or 9 hours. Remove from slow cooker and drain. Place ribs on grill. Brush with barbeque sauce. Grill 4 -6 inches from flame for about 15 minutes. Serve with extra sauce for dipping.
