tablespoons butter, cut into 4 pieces

1/4

cup light corn syrup

bag (5 oz) dried tart or sweet cherries

cup salted roasted almonds

4

cups Vanilla Chex™ cereal

4

cups Chocolate Chex™ cereal

oz vanilla-flavored candy coating (almond bark)

Preparation

In bottom of 5- to 6-quart slow cooker, place butter. Pour corn syrup over butter.

Evenly top with cherries and almonds.

Evenly top with cereals. Cook uncovered on Low heat setting 1 hour.

Stir mixture 1 minute to coat completely. Cook 1 hour longer.

Pour mixture evenly on cooking parchment-lined cookie sheet. Place candy coating in 1-cup microwavable measuring cup. Microwave uncovered on High 1 minute, stirring once, until melted. Drizzle over mixture; cool to room temperature.
