Ingredients

4 oz. plain cream cheese

3 oz. Norwegian smoked salmon

Few sprigs fresh dill

capers

lemon juice

This recipe is also great with anchovies or bay shrimp in place of the smoked salmon.

Wine companion: Bethel Heights 2002 Pinot Noir, Oregon $14 - $16. Or instead of wine serve with a dry vodka martini.

Preparation

Start by spreading the cream cheese, then follow with the salmon. Dress each piece with desired amount of dill and capers. Assemble all pieces on a tray and squirt with fresh lemon just before serving.
