Ingredients
10 egg yolks
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups milk
2/3 cup butter melted
3 tbs pure vanilla extract Mexican preferably
Ice
Rock salt table salt will work but u need 1-2 cups
6-7 regular size snickers bars cut length ways and than in to small chunks
Preparation
First mix egg yolks and 1 1/2 cups sugar till blended and lemon color if it seems to clumpy don’t wory it will smoothout. Set egg mix aside and heal milk till it comes to a slite simmer or till it starts to bubble of the edges than more from heat and slowly pore in to egg and sugar will stirring and than more back to heat. Constantly stirring bring mix to to a temperature between 165 and 180 it will take 7-12 minutes. more from heat and cool in frig or freezer but don’t let it freeze. Now mix 1 1/2 cups milk with 2/3 cup melted butter and vanilla if the butter gets cumpy and doesn’t mix heat the mixture till it Melts and mix it with the other mix and let chill for at least 2 hour 24 hour will make it better it’s hard to wait after it chills put it in ice cream freezer with ice and salt around it and let it freeze for 30 minutes and then add the candy and let it freeze for 30 mor minutes and you are done store in air tight container in the freezer and enjoy. I don’t know exactly how much it makes but what I put in close I think it’s about as muck as u get from blue bell.
