Ingredients
soda crackers, enough to line a cookie sheet lined with foil
1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
Heat in glass measuring cup until boiling, about 90 seconds. Pour the mixture over the crackers. Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes.
1 300 g package of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Spread chocolate over the crackers as soon as it comes out of the oven.
Preparation
Refrigerate until cold and break apart to serve.
Different levels of sweetness in chocolate can be used, unsweetened, sweetened, butterscotch. Salted peanuts, toasted almonds, or chopped pecans can also be sprinkled on top of melted chocolate before it is refrigerated.
