Ingredients
1 cup butter or margarine 2 eggs 2 cups of brown sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup of cooking molasses 4 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
1 tsp. of ground cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tsp. ginger
Preparation
COMBINE ALL DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER IN LARGE MIXING BOWL.
IN A SEPERATE BOWL, CREAM BUTTER, BROWN SUGAR, AND MOLASSES UNTIL WELL BLENDED.
BEAT EGGS IN TO THE SUGAR MIXTURE. NEXT GRADUALLY ADD THE FLOUR MIXTURE.
DROP ON A COOKIE SHEET WITH A SOUP SPOON FOR LARGE COOKIES OR SMALL TEASPOON FOR SMALL COOKIES.
BAKE AT 350 DEGREES F FOR 8 - 10 MIN. ( MAKES 6 DOZEN COOKIES)
