Ingredients

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 cup bread flour

9 ounces water

3 teaspons gluten

4 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons sugar

1.5 teaspoons salt

3 teaspoons SAF yeast

*1 teaspoon dill

*2 teaspoons rosemary

*1 teaspoon majoram

Preparation

Put the wet ingredients in the bread machine first. Set on 1.5 pound loaf, medium crust on the whole wheat setting.

  • You can use other herbs, too. I’ve also used a mix of tarragon and Penzy’s Bavarian seasoning (crushed brown mustard, rosemary, garlic, thyme, bay leaf and sage.)
